  Encroachment Problem in Karachi: The city of  Karachi  is left with a handful of neighborhoods where encroachment is not an issue yet, namely the Defense Housing Authority, Malir Cant and few other housing societies. Rest of the city is plagued with encroachments involving roadside restaurants, car showrooms, push cart vendors, illegal settlements and so on. Sometimes hard decisions need to be taken in order to address an issue that was hard to approach earlier. People will be displaced, businesses will be shut down and many will go jobless but in the longer run, malpractices and violations will come down significantly. Rule of law can only be implemented with an iron fist. This city has suffered just because the law enforcing authorities were lenient and had an extremely 'accommodating' attitude, therefore a excess of civic problems engulfed the city since the last few decades. 

  Should the internet be used in the classroom? Having the internet in classrooms can also help teachers avoid communication misadventures. When messages and information are shared digitally, misplaced notes and lost assignment sheets become a thing of the past. The internet can also improve class community by facilitating communication outside of the classroom. Class websites or blogs can give students the ability to download assignments and materials, talk with other students, and share their work. Email and messaging can also make it easier for students to ask questions after hours, instead of having to wait until the next day and risk forgetting the question. Teachers also have a lot more resources at their fingertips, which can greatly improve their lesson planning process.

  Smoking causes cancer: Cancer refers to diseases in which abnormal cells divide out of control and are able to invade other tissues. Cancer cells can spread to other parts of the body through the blood and lymph systems, which help the body get rid of toxins. Smoking is also the important factor that can cause cancer and then block your body from fighting it. Poisons in cigarette smoke can weaken the body’s immune system, making it harder to kill cancer cells. When this happens, cancer cells keep growing without being stopped. The most important thing you can do to prevent smoking-related cancer is not to smoke cigarettes, or to quit if you do. It is also important to avoid secondhand smoke.
